Applied Yesterday (Friend of Gelst)

Thought i'd drop everyone a line, and say "Hi."
Gelst talked me into trying the game out again. Actually, i had been wanting to for awhile now. Once i came to the realization that i'm getting sick of Fantasy MMO's that are all basically the same.
I've tried EvE 2-3 times. I really want to get into it, but the last few times i gave it a try. I never really had anyone to play with, and i think that's why i quit. The one occasion that i did have people to play with, it was only 3-4 other friends, and we really didn't know what we were doing.
So, this time around i'm trying to get in with a group of people that like PvP, and don't mind holding a newbs hand a little bit. I'd say i learn pretty fast on my own, but i definitely learn faster if i have people teaching me, and that don't mind answering my stupid questions.
So, basically i have a base knowledge of the game. I have experience with small gang PvP, mainly tackling, etc... I'm hoping i can expand on that with you guys helping me along. It's really daunting, and boring being in the giant EvE universe all alone. Obviously an MMO is meant to be played with other people. Even more so where EvE is concerned.
Looking forward to pitching in a helping hand, and having a good time with you guys. At the very least maybe i can be a distraction. Cause someone to shoot at me, and blow me up, instead of the more important people.
