My brother and his wife played. It kinda looked like maybe some mindless fun I guess. But don't you have to do the whole facebook thing?? I really don't want no part of that and don't feel like dealing with that whole socializing with people I care to forget from my past. All you guys are obviously ok!! If you can join and keep "out of facebook mainstream" I would maybe consider it.
He said something about needing friends/neighbors. Is there some name or number or something associated with your farm they can add and vice versa to get your "pot" to grow faster
Hmm, I know you can run it from farmville.com, but I think it's still tied heavily into facebook.
It's pretty easy to play, you just log in every few hours or days to harvest/plant crops based on what you planted, and give gifts to your neighbors to help them build things on the farm like barns or houses.
But my girls that play are 6, 8, 12 and they get a kick being able to play a game on the computer with their dad.
Actually, there is a group of 30-40 RAWR guys playing starfleet commander on facebook. I can see playing along with your kids though. That would be cool to do.
Helpnuout - jack of all trades, pvp, mining, building, capitals, and can FC Speed Four - pvp with ewar and fly fast things.
My mom plays Farmville.....alot....and she has turn 39 years old about 20 times now. She keeps trying to get me to be her neighbor. I told her I would only play if I could park my internet spaceship in her pasture when I visted her farm.
Now now fellas, lets not be getting too harsh on the game. If Pokemon has taught us anything its that as long as their is competitive community action any game can swell the massive popularity and capture the hearts and minds of the children (and some adults) of the world. The earliest iterations were so ugly and pixelated you had trouble differentiating a poke beast from a cabbage and look at where it is now.
